Amaya never fancied going to the beach or wearing a swimming suit. The fact she was brought up there was beyond her but if she was allowed to fish and get seafood then it would make it a better day. Besides, the shore offers them a lot of it already and if they could add a fish or two in the process it would make a better meal. She, like Yoshihiro wasn’t part of the rich people, her aunt might be so but her parents had a modest kind of living even if they traveled a lot with their jobs. They preferred her to be under her aunt’s wing and to let her bond with that side of the family. She didn’t see the point of buying the most expensive food while you could get it here for free, minus the rented material.
They were lucky she was focusing on that and missed the fact that the cave could go deeper because she would definitely prefer getting lost in that instead. Osamu had been guiding Matsumi out of the cave as they were establishing what to do next. “We don’t need a boat, there’s enough space here and we don’t need a lot of fish, it is much more satisfying to get one than to buy one.” She was the one who tended to deal with the budget and did groceries for the meals she wanted to prepare. Even if she was offered the moon, she tended to go for the cheaper option, in her opinion it tasted better that way too as you put the effort into it and she could bring Satoru with her if he wanted. It’d also mean she wouldn’t be around the radiant ones for too long, she could handle Yoshihiro even if he was bright, she could always ignore his shine with her sunglasses which was what she did when she went out.

Matsumi didn't let go of Osamu until they were out of the cave. Amaya might like this sort of things, but she couldn't find anythign good about it. Now that she was out of that dark spots where scary things crawled in, she felt a lot better.
Amaya was still claiming that it was better to get it yourself than pay. She also assured there was enough space here without them needing a boat. But Hideo was already not listening to them. "That's because you usually keep an eye on the budget, but you're offered quality here if you want it," he objected. It seemed no one would listen to him though so he aready made it clear to everyone he would part ways for the rest of the day. Yoshihiro didn't think it was that bad. Sure, he lost his partner for flying disk and other games, but there were others. He could manage, especially if that meant not being reminded that he was not as rich as the other. Good riddance, was all he could think.
With all this said and done, Matsumi turned towards Osamu. "Let's get the others, see if they want to join." Hiroki and Satoru might not have joined them but they might want to come along for this. Plus it meant going back to the beach, which was a far better sight than here. Less dangerous too. They still had to be careful going down the wet and slippery stones to reunite with them.

Amaya might have had a taste of what it was to live in a luxurious place, thanks to her aunt, and also attend to some soirées but that didn’t mean she liked that. She preferred a much more modest lifestyle and was still convinced that the idea of fishing was a better one than buying fancy food. She didn’t mean it as an offense towards Hideo, but it definitely brought more pride in a meal you cooked when you got the food yourself as well. She wondered if he ever knew of that feeling and highly doubted it. Only had he started tasting homemade food thanks to her doing the cooking. Having quality ingredients helped to have a better tasting meal but she knew better than that.
“I have to keep an eye on the budget if we want to have enough food for a month.” She argued back. He didn’t need to waste money there though and she didn’t say anything against Hideo not being around. It would mean that she would have less radiant creatures to deal with despite the sun and she was content with it.
They all agreed to go back to Hiroki and Satoru and see if they wanted to fish too. She would rather keep her mind occupied as well over being stuck on a beach doing nothing. She wasn’t too keen on tanning as she could hardly deal with the sun when it was too warm outside.

Amaya argued she had to keep an eye on the budget. She was the one preparing the meals for everyone in the house and had to make sure they were not paying too much, despite the taste of some of them. "Maybe at the house, but not here. We're on vacations, we can treat ourselves a bit," Hideo argued. Yoshihiro thought like Amaya. And Hideo's privileged attitude was getting on his nerves. Yoshihiro never needed much but this was pushing it. "You mean you'll treat us, right?" he let out to the other boy. It wasn't like Yoshihiro could afford a meal at some fancy restaurant. He had to keep a budget. If it had not been for Amaya's aunt letting him stay in exchange of watching over her niece and doing some labor around the house, he never could have afford such a place. Hideo just shrugged it off. Wasn't it nice to have the means to do whatever you want, whenever you felt like it. Yoshihiro was glad too that he left. He might have started a fight that would end in more than throwing a flying disk at Amaya's head.
Matsumi would have enjoyed tanning, but things went a bit out of hand and if fishing was what it took to calm everyone, she'd go for it. At least she would spend time with Osamu. It was not all a loss. They returned to the beach and tried to locate Hiroki and Satoru. Matsumi made signs of the hand to catch their attention so they would know they had returned. Sure, Hideo was taking his things and leaving them, but that was not a problem. "We thought about fishing a dinner for tonight, are you interested in joining?" she asked once they got close enough she wouldn't need to yell it at them to be heard.

Amaya had to say she was curious if Hideo would actually treat them all for a meal, it could cost a lot knowing the price of food and even more considering that they were at a vacation area and that they probably boosted the prices there. She wasn’t stupid; she knew how the business worked and she often talked to the people working at the market place they would give her info on that on a few occasions. She didn’t particularly enjoy being at the beach but at least fishing was an activity she would be willing to do; it was satisfying to catch a big fish. They made it back to where Hiroki and Satoru were and Matsumi asked them if they wanted to go fishing.
Hiroki grinned at the idea. “That sounds like fun, the person who gets the biggest fish gets the biggest meal?” He asked in a joking manner, knowing quite well that it might just trigger Amaya and Yoshihiro in a fishing contest… why not, it could be fun to watch them go. Satoru agreed with the idea too as he too had been doing that in the past along with his family when his parents weren’t busy with their jobs. It was making the younger boy feel nostalgic even if he wasn’t with them. “Should we get our things first? Are we renting a boat or going to a fishing spot?” Hiroki asked wondering what their options were. Amaya didn’t care, she did like the sea but she didn’t know if she would survive spending time on a boat with the radiant one being too close for her taste. Osamu had to admit that he too was glad that things were settling down, Hideo was old enough to mind his own business after all.

Could they really get anything? It wasn't like any of them went fishing before. Matsumi was not sure. Maybe it was a good thing then that Hideo offered to pay a meal, just in case. She couldn't say she was particularly sad that he left. She would have had Osamu turned down the option. Or Yoshihiro, to an extent, since she wished to get Amaya and him closer. Plus she could tell he was the strongest one here and more likely to be useful in the situation.
Hiroki had more enthusiasm towards it. He even wanted them to place a bet. Matsumi didn't think she would catch anything, but if they were in teams, it might be alright. Besides, it wasn't like Hiroki said the losers wouldn't eat. "That depends what we fish. They might be too strong for some of you." Yoshihiro pointed out. He might never have gone fishing before, he saw the size of some of those fish, he could imagine their strength. He also wondered how they would feel when the fish would ahve to be killed and cut. Amaya was likely the only one who would not flinch. They should probably leave that part ot her, or whoever owns the boat they'd go on if they decided to fish into the sea and not just at the pier.
They all sort of looked at Osamu when the boat was mentioned. Weren't they here because the boy knew the place? That meant he should handle that too, right? "What do you think would be the best option?" Matsumi asked. Perhaps they should start by getting the material and ask the one who'd rent it to them. For that one, Matsumi fully relied on him. "Anyone went fishing before?" she also asked. Since Amaya suggested it, she thought the other girl might have but Yoshihiro shook his head. That would be a lot of newbies to watch over. For that part, it would be Amaya they would rely on.

Amaya wasn't afraid to get in some sort of competition. She wasn't new to fishing, she and her brother would do that often with their parents on field trips. Her father liked nature related activities and her mother was more easy going. Once they'd see her family, they'd truly wonder where she came from! "I'm not weak!" Argued Hiroki even though, Yoshihiro was right. They just had to settle what they were going for and they would get to that! It would be fun to do a group activity that included Amaya. She impressed him a couple of times already and he wondered if she would get to do that as well while they'd fish.
"Should we go for the sea if we want enough fish for all of us?" Asked Hiroki. Amaya hadn't thought of that but it was true that they had higher chances to get more fish, and bigger ones that would serve everyone. Osamu nodded at them. "We can rent a boat over there." He pointed at a cabin when eyes went on him. He let the discussion going so they could settle what they wanted and if that's what they wanted then they could get that. Amaya raised her hand along with her brother. "We went fishing often." Her brother also agreed and said that he could help them set their fishing rod if they needed it. They seemed to settle things down and agreed to rent a boat, they even offered to go with fishermen that would show the rest of the group the best spots and the best fishing technique too. It might be fun!

Yoshihiro never specifically worked at any fish shop but he expected some of them to be hard to catch. Especially in the ocean. They had to be strong to go against the currents, he supposed. Then again, he never fished before. He could not recall a river close enough of his home to try and get him dinner for his mother and himself and did other types of small jobs for a paycheck. Something his mother didn't like, as she wished him to be a regular kid, who spent time with friends at the various clubs - which he did not attend - and worked hard on his grades to go to great school - which is also something he didn't do too good at.
He said nothing as Hiroki claimed to not be weak. Maybe he had endurance, from dancing routines, if he did any, but Yoshihiro didn't see him as physically strong. Stronger than Satoru and Matsumi, sure. Perhaps stronger than Osamu too. But he would even put Amaya as stronger than he was, and she had the disadvantage of being a girl in a contest of strength.
Matsumi was relieved that at least one, well two, of them knew how to fish. That would reduce the risk of them all falling over and catching nothing. Plus, while she didn't know how good of a teacher Amaya might be, perhaps her brother could give them a foint advices. Even if it was a tad embarrassing to ask a kid for advice. "If everyone agrees, then it's settled." Better yet, when they arrived, they were given the chance to go with real fishermen, making the chance fo getting something all the more higher! They had to put some more clothes on than just their swimsuit, something Matsumi was sure Amaya was glad of. "Still planning on doing a competition?" She asked Hiroki "Should we make teams?" Then again, she didn't know how fair it was. Either they were in three teams of two, in which case they would push for Amaya and Yoshihiro to be together, leaving Hiroki with Satoru and that didn't sound nice, or they were in two teams of three and then she pitied whoever would be stuck with Yoshihiro and Amaya. She supposed they technically didn't have to be together, but it wasn't the point of this trip.
