When Haruhi Fujioka first walked into Music Room Three, she had not known that it was the home of Ouran Academy’s prestigious Host Club, nor had she expected to have anything to do with said club. However, fate had made a different decision, one that she could not reverse. After breaking an expensive vase and having no choice but to join the club and work off the debt, Haruhi Fujioka’s life changed forever. She was forced to keep her real gender a secret as it would ruin her reputation within the club, but being the rather indifferent soul that she was, Haruhi did not mind. Her focus, at least initially, was to pay off her debt, and she was willing to make some sacrifices for this to happen.

While the boys managed to keep her secret for quite some time, Haruhi encountered one of the girls from Lobelia Girl’s academy and was soon found out Zuka Club’s leader. This news did not go over well at all with the Zuka Club, and they henceforth declared war against Tamaki Suoh and his precious Host Club, already managing to convince quite a few of Ouran’s female students to stop attending the club. In addition to the current crisis of sales reduction, the Host Club will soon be facing another: Hani and Mori’s graduation is less than a year away and Tamaki will have to recruit new boys to replace them, if any can be found at all.

Despite his struggles, Tamaki refuses to give up on the Host Club and essentially hand his ‘daughter’ over to the Zuka Club. After all, they are unbreakable.

Subplot

THE Rival School

Miyazaki Academy of the Arts is a world-renowned school for talented individuals.   Students can begin attending in their elementary years and follow through all the way through university. It attracts hopeful attendees from all over the world, and is possibly one of the most difficult academies to get into. Miyazaki cannot be bought out by the rich; it only accepts the most beautiful and talented into its doors. Though it does not require any tuition fees and even the uniforms are free of charge, Miyazaki has a rigorous audition process for its potential students, and only the best of the best can get in.

Miyazaki had always been somewhat of a rival to Ouran based solely on the fact of its worldwide popularity, but nowadays, this rivalry has been spiked dramatically by the foundation of MAA's very own Host Club.  For the first time, Miyazaki Academy of the Arts has opened its doors to outsiders. With hosts undoubtedly more beautiful and talented than those at Ouran just beckoning for ladies to fall to their feet, hat will this mean for Tamaki and his fellow Ouran hosts? Loyalties are tested and patience is running thin.
