The Canon list

Here on WAU, we have two canon lists, the show canons and the site canons. The following rules and information apply to both:

You have one week to create your character. Please don't pressure an admin to look through your app. Contact an admin if you see there is a missing canon and you want to RP them. This is by no means a complete list, so chances are that we will allow whoever it is that you are interested in playing. Likewise, if there is someone missing that you would like to see but not play, please contact an admin and we will add them to it.

IMPORTANT NOTE FROM STAFF: In order to move site plots and events along, the staff have created NPC accounts for canons that have not been claimed. If you want to play a canon that is currently NPC, go right ahead and make an app for them! The only canons that are actually claimed will be listed as such here. If you want to plot with an NPC canon, go right ahead! They don't have plot pages, so feel free to just pm their account or the account of the admin that is playing them.

The SHOW CANONS

These are the canon characters that we all know and love created for the series by Bisco Hatori.

Amakusa Benio

Female ▣ 17 ▣ Play by up to player ▣ Zuka Club

Openly homosexual, Benio is the president of the Zuka Club. She had had a feeling that Haruhi was a female when she first met her but when it was confirmed to her when one of her girls had found out, she immediately decided to declare war against Tamaki and wants to close the Host Club because she simply cannot accept the fact that they are being selfish and are hiding Haruhi's real gender. She is also fighting Tamaki to win Haruhi's heart.

Haruhi is the natural type of the host club. She had joined the club by force originally but she had learned to trust the guys and actually considers them to be her friends. She focuses a lot on her studies since it has been the reason as to why she joined the academy in the first place. She isn't as worried as everyone is concerning the fact that people found out about her gender. Actually, she wants to focus on her studies so she could become a lawyer like her mother.

Haninozuka Mitsukuni

Male ▣ 18 ▣ Chiba Yudai ▣ 3A ▣ Host Club

An expert martial artist from a famous martial arts family, though you wouldn't expect that when you see him in the Host Club as he is known as the cute and innocent type. Hani is often seen with his cousin, Mori, and they had made it their mission for their last year to protect Haruhi at all costs now that her secret is being threatened by the Zuka Club.

Hitachiin Hikaru

Male ▣ 16 ▣ Takagi Shinpei ▣ 1A ▣ Host Club

Hikaru is more immature though he is the older twin. The twins' different personalities are best shown when they are separated, and they also speak a little differently. They both have strong feelings towards Haruhi and are getting as paranoid as Tamaki now that their biggest secret has been discovered. They are known as the devious and mischievous type.

Hitachiin Kaoru

Kaoru is nicer, more mature and considerate of others, even though he is the younger of the two. HOUSHAKUJI RENGE

Female ▣ 16 ▣ Tsuchiya Tao ▣ 1A ▣ Host Club

The Host Club's self-proclaimed manager, Renge is determined to not only be Kyoya's right-hand (wo)man, but also his wife. She flew all the way from France to Japan and began attending Ouran all because she thinks that Kyoya looks like a character from one of her video games and that they are destined to be together. She is one of the few who know about Haruhi's secret and she is determined to keep it safe as she now considers Haruhi as a close friend, even having a light crush on the other girl that seems to have almost replaced her crush on Kyoya.

Kanazuki Reiko

Female ▣ 16 ▣ Play by here ▣ 1D ▣ Black Magic Club

Reiko is the vice president of the Black Magic club. She enjoys cake and has a crush on Hani, and can sometimes be found watching him from afar and trying to cast love spells (and 'curses') on him. Her suggested play by is Yoshikawa Asami, who played her in the drama, but because of the difficulty in finding images of this actress, other play by choices are acceptable. If you need help finding a suitable play by for this canon, please contact an admin.

Maihara Chizuru

Female ▣ 17 ▣ Play by up to player ▣ Zuka Club

Chizuru Maihara , also known as "The Lady of the Lily", is the Vice-President of the Zuka Club. She is the most placid member of the club but she never objects to any of the plans. In fact, she assists Benio and tends to make things worse. She believes that men are a lower form of humans and agrees that the host club should be closed down. Forever.

Morinozuka Takashi

Male ▣ 18 ▣ Nakamura Masaya ▣ 3A ▣ Host Club

Mori is depicted as tall, quiet and somewhat intimidating, and somehow is named the wild type. He is very protective of his cousin Hani, whom he calls by his first name, Mitsukuni. His protective personality extends to his classmates and the Host Club members, earning him a high level of respect. He is also protective of Haruhi and keeps an extra eye on her along with Hani now that the Zuka club are fighting against them.

Nekozawa Umehito

Male ▣ 18 ▣ Ryusei Ryo ▣ 3B ▣ Black Magic Club

Umehito has photophobia, which causes him to collapse and, according to him, "die" when under any kind of direct light; he tends to refer to anyone who drags him into lights as "murderers". As the Black Magic Club's President, he often tries to get people to join his club, though not too successfully. Anyone who joins gets a free Belzeneff doll. He has become close to the Host Club members despite the fact that Tamaki's very superstitious. He does enjoy spending time with the Host Club members and considers them as close friends. However, he is oblivious to Haruhi's secret.

Ootori Kyoya

Male ▣ 17 ▣ Daito Shunsuke ▣ 2A ▣ Host Club

Kyoya, the cool type, is the vice president of the club and the one who deals with its finances. Actually, a lot of people who aren't blinded by the men's beauty are aware that the real brain behind the club is Kyoya and not Tamaki. He wants to prove to his father that he can take care of the club and therefore of a company. He also is quite concerned about the fact that Haruhi's real gender has slipped out and will support Tamaki in most of his decisions.

Suou Tamaki Taken by Ele

Male ▣ 17 ▣ Yamamoto Yusuke ▣ 2A ▣ Host Club

Tamaki is the leader of the club and the princely type. He is very protective over Haruhi, whom he has an obvious crush on. He is becoming quite paranoid over the fact that someone found out about Haruhi's gender and demanded that everyone has to be extra cautious. He is also in the process of recruiting new members since Mori and Hani are going to university in the spring. He won't give up easily and he is willing to fight until the end for Haruhi despite the drama that is happening in his own life with his family who is not accepting of him for being the child of an affair.

Tsuwabuki Hinako Taken by Ele

Female ▣ 15 ▣ Hashimoto Ai ▣ Zuka Club

Youngest member of the Zuka Club's leading council, Hinako Tsuwabuki, also known as "The Lady of the Daisy", is acknowledged as both the most energetic and the most intelligent out of the three Zuka Club leaders. She looks up to Benio and tries her best to get Haruhi to join the Zuka Club and to transfer to Lobelia.

The SITE CANONS

These are the canon characters that have been created by the staff specifically for We Are Unbreakable. We have only put the most important canons in each family, but cousins, parents, and other members of these families are welcome as well- if you are interested in one of those roles, contact a staff member.

OLD MONEY FAMILIES
KOIZUMI FAMILY: The Koizumi family is renowned throughout Japan as politicians. They are the direct relatives of the Emperor himself.
FUKUDA FAMILY: An immensely wealthy family of business entrepreneurs. The heir to the Fukuda family is meant to be engaged to the first daughter and heir of the Koizumi family, but due to complications, is engaged to the second daughter instead.
HIMURA FAMILY: The Himura family has been known throughout the world of music and arts for generations. They have been known for their talents in classical music, playing at sold out classical events, and their extraordinary paintings shown at art galleries.

NEW MONEY FAMILIES
SATO FAMILY: What most people consider as 'new money', the Sato family gained their popularity quite recently within the media, mostly in the film & television sections. They are known for their company, Sato Entertainment.

COMMONER FAMILIES
AIKAWA FAMILY: A family of three. The mother used to be of the prestigious Nakamura family until she married a commoner, and then she was completely disowned and cut off.
AKIYAMA FAMILY: A simple, close-knit family of parents and three sons. All three of the Akiyama sons are extremely intelligent and have managed to make it into Ouran Academy on scholarships. They're half-Korean on their mother's side.

AKIYAMA Akira

Male ▣ 16 ▣ Lau Henry  ▣ 1A ▣ Ouran Private

The youngest Akiyama brother and openly gay, Akira is very intelligent and since high school has made it into Ouran as a scholarship student, following in his brothers' footsteps. He went to elementary and middle school with Haruhi and knows about her gender and since they have both become scholarship students at Ouran they have quickly become study buddies and close friends. Akira is quite charismatic and can charm people's pants off because of his knowledge in various subjects. He spends a lot of time in the Host Club because of Haruhi and also because her harbours a small crush on Hani. Akira is half-Korean on his mother's side.

AKIYAMA Masato

Male ▣ 21 ▣ Kim Soo-Hyun ▣ Ouran University

Masato is the eldest of the Akiyama family, and like his brothers, is half-Korean on his mother's side. He is studying in Ouran University and likes to set a good example for his two younger brothers, as he has always done. He was the first to become a scholarship student in Ouran, but as his brothers are equally intelligent to himself, it did not take long for them to follow him there. They often blame him for being too serious and they are probably right, but Masato doesn’t want to miss the opportunity to have a high ranked job. His goal is to become the CEO of his own company.

AKIYAMA MINATO TAKEN BY SAY

Minato is the second child of the Akiyama family. He is a commoner He is the rebel of the family, having dyed his hair blonde. His most dominant traits are his sense of humour and his stubbornness. As the middle child, Minato always felt overshadowed by his brothers. They all got scholarships to Ouran and Minato did not need to put any effort in to keep his grades up because of his intelligence, but he did not really get commended for going anyway because his older brother had already achieved it before him. So, instead of following Masato to university, Minato decided to merely get a job and continue on with his simple commoner's life, which he liked much more than the regal life at Ouran. Minato is half-Korean, as his mother is Korean and met his father during a study abroad program to Japan many years ago.

FUKUDA ICHIRO - TAKEN BY BOBBY

Male ▣ 17 ▣ Miura Haruma ▣ 2A ▣ Ouran Private

Ichiro is the first son and heir to the Fukuda family. He was originally engaged to the first daughter of the Koizumi family, Sakura, after her birth, but this was changed to Hanami due to Sakura's illness. Even though he feels bad for the change, it was out of his control, and he has long since resigned himself to having to marry Hanami that he can carry on his family's legacy. Ichiro's main focus is success in his future career and he seems to be a bit cold and stoic, but he has a soft spot for his younger brother, who is his best friend.

FUKUDA JIRO

Male ▣ 16 ▣ Sota Fukushi ▣ 1A ▣ Ouran Private

Jiro is the second son of the Fukuda family and the younger brother of Ichiro. He looks up to Ichiro, who he considers to be his best friend. Jiro is a bit naive as he did not have the same strict upbringing as Ichiro did. Jiro is not his family's heir so he is merely expected to marry well and to try to make something of himself without overshadowing his brother. He is not concerned about the future at all. A hopeless romantic, Jiro is glad that he doesn't have the same responsibilities as his brother and hopes to someday marry for love instead of for business.

HIMURA Tsukiko Taken By Mandi

Female ▣ 16 ▣ Jung Krystal ▣ 1 ▣ Miyazaki

Unlike her older siblings, Tsukiko doesn't sing at all. The only instrument that she knows how to play is the taiko drum. She finds comfort in drawing & painting. Tsukiko has a secret passion: acting. She has always wanted to be an actress ever since she was little. Her main skills are the latter three mentioned, but she was let into Miyazaki based on her drawing, painting, and musical skills with the taiko drum.

HIMURA MAKOTO

Female ▣ 18 ▣ Jung Jessica ▣ 3 ▣ Miyazaki

Makoto mainly sings, but is also talented in an instrument: the violin. These were the key elements to her Miyazaki audition. She is most known for singing while her twin brother, Satoshi, plays the piano. They make a formidable musical duo between the two of them.

HIMURA SATOSHI

Male ▣ 18 ▣ Kim Hyun Joong ▣ 3 ▣ Miyazaki

Satoshi has been playing musical instruments ever since he was young. He mostly specialises in the piano, although he can play four instruments in total. His talent has earned him a spot in Miyazaki Academy of the Arts, along with his twin sister Makoto, and later on, his younger sister Tsukiko.

Koizumi Hanami Taken by Ele

Female ▣ 16 ▣ Yagi Arisa ▣ 1A ▣ Ouran Private

Hanami is Sakura's younger sister. Unlike Sakura, Hanami has grown up being fed with a silver spoon, and was always quite obviously their parents' favourite. Despite this, she was always a rather goofy and lighthearted individual, and would often get away with these traits due to her parents' favouritism. She became good friends with the Hitachiin twins during her first year at Ouran and has become a regular visitor to the Host Club because of it. Hanami is stubborn and loyal to a fault, and is very protective of her older sister. Hanami is engaged to the heir of the Fukuda family, though she does not want to be and dreams of living a simple commoner's life.

Koizumi Sakura Taken by Say

Female ▣ 17 ▣ Kitagawa Keiko ▣ 2A ▣ Ouran Private

Sakura is the eldest daughter of the Koizumi family and also one of the granddaughters of the emperor. Not a lot of people know about her since she has had to fight Leukemia in her youth, which brought shame to her family and therefore, they hid her away from the public until she showed the desire to go to school and to live a 'normal' life. Kyoya knows about her mostly because she has been cured at one of his hospitals and warned the host club members that she was a key person to attend to without telling them her full background as he must respect her privacy.

SATO AYA

Female ▣ 15 ▣ PB Up to Player ▣ 1B ▣ Ouran Private

Aya is the younger sister of Yosuke. He has always kept a close on her ever since she was born. She was born as a rather sickly child and was always kept inside due to fear of her health getting any worse than it already was.

Male ▣ 17 ▣ Ukwon ▣ 2B ▣ Ouran Private

Yosuke is the eldest child of the Sato family. His parents had split up when he was a child, forcing him, his mother, and his younger sister to live with his grandparents. A few years ago his mother remarried a young man who owned the small company Sato Entertainment, which has now boomed into popularity. Yosuke could care less about his family's new wealth and rise to fame. His main goal is to make sure that his younger sister is safe and happy. He has a special interest in the culinary arts. He has recently joined the Host Club as the 'bad boy' type, in training to be one of Mori and Hani's replacements.

A student at Ouran Academy, she was hired by the Zuka club's president to spy on the Host Club's behavior and give them the desired information. It really was an accident when she first saw Haruhi's true gender, though it worked out to her benefit and after trying to apologise hundreds of times, she immediately rushed to Benio to tell her the news. She keeps a low profile for now and pretends that she is a regular customer to the host club but is really seeking the same goal as Benio.
